" EVERBRITE is amazing, its glossy finish put the final touch on all of the copper on both the eagle and the copula roof. I'm thrilled on the results and more thrilled that this projects total cost was a fraction of the cost of purchasing a brand new one :-)"

Thanks to Linda for this stunning before and after picture.

LOVE YOUR COPPER OR BRASS WEATHERVANE?
Keep it New Or Restore Old Metal with Everbrite Coating.

Everbrite Coating is a clear protective coating with U.V. blockers and anti-oxidants that will protect the beauty of weathervanes, cupolas and finials for years and can be maintained indefinitely.

Copper and brass weathervanes look lovely on your property, adding a warm glow to your roof. But how do you keep them from tarnishing and turning brown and losing the beautiful copper glow? Taking the weathervane down to polish it every 6 months isn't a practical solution.  Everbrite Coating will keep your weathervane looking new for years and you can also restore old, tarnished weathervanes to look new again.

Everbrite Coating prevents tarnishing and corrosion on your brass or copper weathervanes. It works not only on weathervanes but also on other items like your cupola, finial, copper gutters, sundial, and mailboxes. Thousands of weathervane and cupola owners use Everbrite Coating to stop tarnishing and oxidation, allowing them to enjoy the beauty of their copper home decorations for years to come.

Cupola and Weathervanes

Everbrite Coating will seal and protect your weathervanes, cupolas, or finials from tarnishing, oxidation, corrosion, salt air, and other damaging elements.

Here's why Everbrite Coating is an excellent choice:

  • Excellent adhesion - Even to highly polished metal.

  • U.V. Protection and Anti-Oxidants for long-lasting protection.

  • One-part coating - no mixing or waste.

  • Easy to apply and user-friendly.

  • Remain flexible - will not crack, chip, or peel.

  • Self-annealing - blends to itself, making touchups easy.

  • Self-leveling - application is easy.

It's not like a thick plastic coating or lacquer that can hide the beauty of the metal. Everbrite Coating makes your metal look naturally polished, enhancing its appearance for many years.

Directions For Applying Everbrite Coating On Your Weathervanes

For new weathervanes, follow these steps:

1. Wipe off any oil or dirt using a clean solvent. You can use xylene or denatured alcohol (available at most hardware stores) or we can ship you 99% Isopropyl Alcohol for the solvent wipe step. This will ensure a completely clean surface.

2. Once the metal is clean, Everbrite Coating can be applied by several methods. It can be sprayed on or wiped on the surface with clear-coat applicators, natural hair brushes, poly-sponge brushes, or a pad of lint-free cloth. Let it dry and enjoy your beautiful copper and brass weather vane. Two coats are recommended for long-lasting protection.

If your weathervane is already brown and weathered, use our HD Copper Cleaning Gel and then polish it back to bright copper or brass. Most importantly, protect the shine with Everbrite Coating for long-lasting results.

There are 5 basic steps:

  1. Remove the tarnish - HD Copper Cleaner Gel for Heavy Tarnish

  2. Polish if a higher shine is desired.

  3. Neutralize if acid is used (Gel is acid-based - Midas Touch polish is not acid based)

  4. Solvent wipe.

  5. Apply 2-3 coats of Everbrite Coating for long-lasting protection.

  6. Sit back and enjoy the beauty.
